If you're new to Forex you absolutely MUST educate yourself before engaging in trading. There can be some major pitfalls with trading if you don't know what you're doing.  One of them is believing all of the hype around trading with Forex "Robots" that do automatic trades. Some robots work, but most don't, which is why on Forex Tips you will only find Forex Megadroid.  It's the ONLY robot that has been privately tested and keeps making consistent money.

You also have to beware of some training sites, and even a few forums. Unfortunately there is a great deal of fraud in the FX trading industry and you need to be made aware of that. And that is in part why this website exists. The forex market can be a really fun and exciting way to make money, but keep in mind that you have to first learn how to trade correctly.

This I know because my brother is a Forex trader and is the one who got me interested.  As I watched him trade I saw both his ups and downs..  I saw him make $3,000 in two hours and I've also seen him lose it just as fast. As you might imagine, seeing that made me realize that you really have to know what you're doing before you jump in.

Forex trading is just like anything else though.  When you start a new job you have to learn the ropes, and the same holds true for Forex.  If you're going to trade, you REALLY have to learn the ins and outs or you could be broke faster than you can say "ohmygodijustlostagrand".

When I first started watching my brother as a newbie trader and was looking around on the web for information on forex myself I realized very quickly that there are a lot of scammers out there to watch out for.  This is especially true when it comes to software that automatically trades for you, generally called "robots", as I mentioned earlier. 

Some of them work, but some of them are a ripoff and will do nothing but cause you to lose money.  My brother and I both fell for one of the sales pitches and bought a program that proceeded to lose him $10,000 in a big hurry, but  fortunately it was all on paper back then.

But it isn't all bad.. if it were so bad people wouldn't do it, and there wouldn't be so many highly successful traders out there. The truth is that many of the people in the Forex industry are honest, and they truly want to help you succeed.. as do I.
